Who We Are
SRAC is staffed 100% by a knowledgeable staff of volunteers that donated approximately 5,500 hours last year alone. Our staff includes avocational archaeologists, professional anthropologists, historians, researchers, and others who are dedicated to our mission. This allows us to stay open 5 days a week year round.What We Do
SRAC is located at 345 Broad Street in Waverly, NY and we have a huge museum gift shop, a lecture hall that seats 75 people, and an exhibit hall filled with thousands of local Native American artifacts that date as far back as the ice age (12 – 15 thousand years ago)to the Revolutionary War (1770’s). We give personal tours and accept group tours as well as school field trips. All of this makes us a popular destination, serving thousands of visitors every year.
